Totally how I talk, the title. I bellowed it out to Dave the other day while I was playing hockey out back with Joe and thought what a great "blog title" that sequence of words would produce. Gotta "draw" you in somehow, after all.
I got a hockey helmet for myself after the Endocrine appointment on Tuesday. Now I can really put the "pressure" on Joe while playing hockey on our rink. A few penalties have been called on me..."tripping" and perhaps some "holding"...some "slashing"... and I try to take it easy on the "high sticking". No worries though, Joe and I still do a fist bump after we play to show our respect for one another and the game.
I am not sure if it comes through on here between posts showing my abs (for Laura Houston , while sporting some Tallygear) and my talk of oscillating mascara wands and hair spray, but I am a bit vain.
So I bought the helmet in hopes of preventing this:

A day-in-the-life of fun times with glucose tabs for Joe and beer for me. BTW, I was pleased to find that the Magic Hat bottle head and part of the neck fits through the cage on the helmet...I know, nothing says "class" like a Woodchuck toting, hockey mom chugging a beer while donning a helmet!

Wow! Don't let my husband see that awesome ice rink. He tried to make one years ago and spent hours on it, freezing himself.. Great job! Joe is one swift skater.

Your rink looks awesome with all of the snow piled on the sides!! Very jealous! My youngest rocks at skating and hockey BUT REFUSES TO PLAY!!! Breaks my husbands heart!!

I love your blog, I just read this as I'm on the way out the door to watch my D-boy play hockey. I too would have loved to have seen a pic of you drinking a beer through your helmet. Don't see that too much at Jacob's Novice 2 level, but I do see the glucose tabs through the helmet. Keep on rockin' the posts Reyna!

BTW, thanks for the suggestions on my post about nurses. I know that these ladies know what they are doing and they do do it well, I just have some control issues sometimes. I hate to make people feel like they don't know what they are doing, it's why I'm trying to back off a little and not step on people's toes. I think it would have been easier if our outgoing nurse had been able to orient these ladies...unfortunately that didn't happen. I just need to put my faith in them and trust it.
